Singapore to Bali - Meet Beckie

Meet Beckie, a passionate and creative individual whose life revolves around the surf - that's our kind of person! Born and raised in Singapore - a place where surf is not so accessible - Beckie decided to follow her dreams and carve a life full of chasing swells, designing bikinis, and competing in surf contests. We are stoked to be welcoming Beckie to the club.

Starting surfing in 2014, it wasn’t until around 2019 that Beckie really progressed after making the move to Bali. It’s here that she pushed her desire to improve her skills to the point of competing, as well as growing her swimwear business, Haikini.

To Beckie, surfing is everything. In her own words - “I love it because every wave is different. Ocean swells travel for thousands of kilometres across the open sea, formed by distant storms, before hitting the coastline and creating waves. So when you catch a wave, it is literally your own unique wave, and I find that incredibly magical because you cannot replicate that.”

When it comes to her favorite surf spot, she isn’t keeping it a secret, so we’ll let you have this one - Medewi. Can’t blame her - it’s one of our favorite left-handers too.

Outside of the surf, Beckie is busy designing bikinis and working on her brand, as well as making jewelry for fun.
