We are blessed to welcome Olya to our family - a calm and gentle soul we’ve been lucky to know for a long while.

Born in Russia and now based in Bali, Olya balances her time between surfing and photography, two art forms that blend beautifully together. Her passion for surf culture shines through her imagery, which captures the magical and mystical side of surfing. Beyond the ocean, her photography extends into abstract scenes, lifestyle moments, and striking portraits. Check out her instagram here.

Olya first stepped onto a surfboard in 2014 in Bali, and over time it became more than just a sport. Surfing filled a deep sense of emptiness and helped her find herself. In her own words, it’s been ten years of ocean therapy that’s healed the soul. Fast forward to today and Olya surfs with style and grace, effortlessly navigating to the nose with a laid-back, relaxed approach - something we truly admire at From Earth.

If she could surf one wave for the rest of her life, it would likely be Malibu First Point, drawn to its smooth walls and timeless vibe - like stepping back into the glory days of 1960s California. Closer to home, Olya loves strike missions over to Java, where perfect peeling log waves await at the end of jungle tracks.
