The Albert caught us off guard in the best way possible. Fresh outta the lab and under our feet, it was clear, this wasn’t just a good board, it was something else. We set out to shape a twin fin midlength with a bit more spark under the hood… but we didn’t expect it to feel this electric. Honestly, it’s kinda trippy how well it goes.

We kept the look classic, wide up front with low rocker to boost paddle power and speed. But the real magic kicks in from the middle down. The tail? Way narrower than your average mid, and that paid off big time. It feels snappy, alive, and far more responsive than you'd expect.

We also gave the rails some love, starting with a  60/40 up front, then tucking in tighter before going full sharp out the tail. That edge out back gives you the hold that a third fin usually would, so even with just two fins, you’re not sliding out when you put it on rail. It’s got that bite that most twins dream about.

Bottom contours? Classic single to double. Nothing fancy. Just what works.
