KUTA SESSION

KUTA SESSION

The wonderful Tara recently graced us with a visit to Bali, trading the rainy shores of southern Sri Lanka for the consistent sunshine of Bali's dry season. Her trip was short and sweet, but we managed to rally the girls for a morning catch-up and a surf.

With a Pony, Club Soda, and Iboga in tow, we weaved through the early morning traffic to Kuta Beach, one of Bali's most well known spots for fun, playful longboard waves. While it can get busy thanks to its popularity, there's almost always a quieter sandbank somewhere along the stretch if you're willing to wander a little.

The conditions weren't exactly firing, and it even looked almost flat when we first arrived. Thankfully, a short window of fun little peelers rolled through, giving us just enough waves to put smiles on everyone's faces before the day really got underway.

If you're looking for an easygoing beach day with mellow longboard waves, Kuta is well worth checking out on a smaller swell. It might not always be perfect, but it's consistently fun, and that's what matters most.

Here are a few snaps from our quick morning session.
